Yes. I was stubborn and paranoid to a fault, and a hypocrite as most of my behaviour stemmed almost completely from shame. But by now I've come to recognise the hypocrisy in all things, and beyond understanding merely my own, know how important it is to all people for them to preserve what they think is important, and the silly things they will do and say for that sake. And yet there is so much to discover within when one drops these pointless biases, and simply acknowledges things at face value; that's a level of honesty most don't even grant to themselves, as they fear what they might find.

And yet that fear vanished once I embraced the darkness within. For that is my true nature, and everything else was just an act I desperately tried to convince myself of; not even because I wanted to be "good", but simply because I wanted a place to belong. I'd failed to consider that my true belonging was unamused by my petty vanity in the first place.

Perhaps that pointless wish to be "normal", can be thought of as me throwing a tantrum. But life moves on, and I mustn't deny myself, lest my id comes out to feast again.

In the end, there's hardly anything abnormal about it.
