Love Mercy Forgiveness and Satanism

One of the most common misconceptions that outsiders have about Satanists is the claim that we cannot/are not allowed to love, have mercy or forgive. Of course, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Satanists love more intensely and forgive more sincerely than any right-hand path religion.

Can a Satanist love, forgive, and be merciful? Absolutely, however, the Satanic view of love is much different than that which is advocated by the Abrahamic faiths. Satanists love those who deserve it and are forgiving and merciful towards those who have earned it. Unlike the watered-down and corrupted version promoted by the Abrahamic faiths, Satanists believe in true love and forgiveness.

Satanic Love 

Christians are taught that Jehovah is a “God of love”. How a God of love can damn people to a realm of eternal suffering is a subject that we will touch on in another sermon. The main consensus among them is that if Jehovah is the one true “God” and that only he is able to love perfectly and completely.

However, the Bible consistently teaches that this loving God cannot forgive without the shedding of innocent blood. The Holy Bible also teaches that Christians are to love those who hate them. They live according to the turn the other cheek mentality which sets them up to be used and abused to no end.

Love is a precious and sacred concept and Satanists feel that our love should not be wasted on those who cannot appreciate it. What is the point of showing a painting to a blind man who can’t appreciate what he is seeing? Loving someone who absolutely hates you and has no thought for your well being is a waste of both of your time.

There is no greater feeling in the world than giving love and then being loved, valued, and appreciated in return. This defines love and makes it so wholesome. To love those who seek to harm you is to take a precious gem and degrade it to the status of a filthy rag.

Satanists are allowed to love and often love intensely and deeply. Satanists know that love is sacred and should only be given to those that deserve it. To be loved by a Satanist is to be loved sincerely.

Christians are taught to love their enemies, the meek, and the sick. They are taught to forgive unconditionally and give mercy to those who wish to harm them. This is self-destructive advice that devalues sacred concepts that human beings depend on to thrive.

Satanists love themselves first and foremost and want to have the best possible chance of survival in life. To squander your love on those who are undeserving is to hate yourself. Of course, the Bible incessantly promotes self-hate and blame and corrupts the values that humans depend on to survive and thrive. 

According to the Bible, people are worthless as they were born into sin. The Bible states that your good deeds are as filthy rags before Jehovah. This evil book advises people to hate themselves and to love their enemies which is immoral to the extreme. 

Satanic Forgiveness and Mercy

The  Christian faith has thoroughly corrupted the meaning of forgiveness. The Christian Bible teaches that all can be forgiven by accepting the price that Jesus paid for their sins. Jesus who is supposedly blameless has taken accountability on behalf of the offender and was punished on their behalf.

Punishing the innocent so that the wicked can run free is to promote injustice. Satanists support the act of holding people accountable. Satanists know that we should only forgive those who have earned it. 

The definition of mercy is the act of showing forgiveness or compassion towards an individual when it is within your power to punish them. We believe in human nature and being merciful is a human trait. However, the Abrahamic faiths have corrupted the meaning of mercy to no end.

According to the Bible, God’s mercy extends to the ends of the earth. Anyone under the sun can be forgiven without having to change or work at becoming a better person. The only condition for receiving God’s mercy is that one has to repent and be remorseful of what they have done.

This is in complete opposition to the Satanic world view. We know that mercy deserves more than mere lip service. Mercy should only be extended to those who have shown that they are willing to make an effort in taking accountability or compensating their victims for the wrongdoings that they have committed.
