Satanic Pentagram

The Satanic Stereotype

Black clothes, gothic makeup, and heavy metal music are all images that come to the mind of most people when they hear the word “Satanic”. Don’t misunderstand me, there is nothing wrong with liking these things, but Satanism is not about the clothes that you wear or what kind of music you listen to. Satanism is not a fad or trend but is instead a religion with a set of beliefs that an individual chooses to live by.

I thank Churches, Hollywood, and the mainstream media for misrepresenting Satanism. Of course, Satanists are usually portrayed as being all about darkness, having a bad attitude, or as depraved people who sacrifice children or animals. If someone wears black clothes and listens to heavy metal music they are supposed to be “the Devil’s child”.

This is done purposely to scare people away from the religion by giving Satanism a bad name and a bad image. There is a small group of individuals who want to maintain power and they dread the day when the masses will rise up and take what is rightfully theirs. For this reason, they will spend millions of dollars and do everything possible to keep people trapped in a slave mentality.

Satanism often gets confused with the horror genre where it is all about blood and gore. This is absurd and couldn’t be further from the truth. If you want blood and gore why not look to the Christian Bible that is packed full of blood sacrifice?

If you are going to murder people, commit crimes, and live an immoral life, what makes you different from a Christian or Muslim? Many Christians believe that they can commit any atrocity that they want without consequences as Jesus absolves their sins on the cross. Don’t take responsibility for your life and be the scum of society because Jesus loves everyone equally.

Most prisons are full of Bible-believing fundamental Christians and Muslims who pray 5 times a day. People who are at the end of their time on death row are presented with an opportunity to convert to Christianity before their fate is sealed. That’s right folks, you can be a murderer and a rapist, cheat, steal and kill as much as you want, and as long as you save a prayer for your deathbed your seat is reserved in heaven.

Meanwhile, those who made an actual effort to be good people and make the world a better place are condemned to hell for eternity just because they never accepted Jesus as their Lord and savior. It doesn’t matter if they saved orphans, gave money to the poor, or helped the sick and the elderly if your name isn’t written in the book of life you are going to the “Lake of Fire”.

Nuns wear black robes, are they Satanic? What about Islamic women who wear all black burka? Can you really tell what someone believes just from the clothes that they wear? Isn’t religion meant to be a matter of the heart? Satan wears a white robe, so I guess that everyone who wears white is Satanic too, right?

The truth is that your family doctor, lawyer, or even your friendly policeman can be a Satanist. Satanism is about what you believe and the laws you choose to live your life by. It has nothing to do with what you look like or the wardrobe that you prefer.

Satanism is about becoming an independent individual who refuses to bow down to men or “Gods”. The Satanist refuses to bend their knee and slavishly worship any authority. They know that they are the kings/queens and Gods of their own lives.

Satanism is about advancing yourself and being the best person that you can possibly be, and this makes the world a better place. Unlike Christians who do good works for fear of being cast into hell, Satanists do nice things from a place of sincerity.
