Anton LaVey was the most righteous man I've ever known. He honored his immortality, and had more faith in
his peculiar axioms than any armchair Christian vacantly reciting John 3:16 ever possessed. Yet, despite his cynicism and apocalyptic view of society, he often hoped for a better world, or at least one in which intelligence and creativity were applauded. I find more respect for humanity in his blackest humor than in the passionless zealotry that perpetuates all other conventional religions. Even if I had never agreed with a word he said, it would be irresponsible not to appreciate the sheer brilliance with which it was spoken--not to mention his having the balls to come out and speak it.
I've come to realize that the truth is most often unwanted or believed to be a lie. In a world so full of shit, Anton LaVey cut
through it with the best of them.
Someone once asked me for the secret to my success. I answered that if they weren't smart enough to figure it out on their
own, they didn't deserve to know; and if I told them, it wouldn't be a secret anymore. Fortunately for me and for all of us,
Anton LaVey shared his magic, and I think it has made this wretched fucking planet a better place.
Thank you for your support and inspiration,

-Marilyn Manson

How The Process Church Influences Me
as per requested by HPBlackMamba on the stream today

The Process influenced me because they weren’t opposed to change. They started off as a split off of Scientology under the name of compulsions analysis. They soon began taking in Thelemic, Christian, and Pagan elements.

Their main idea was reconciliation of the opposites. That’s how they influence me.

Timothy Wyllie was an incredible human being. He was a founding member of The Process Church, but his work after it is absolutely wild. He was a philosopher of dolphins, ETs, angels, and psychedelics.

He was quite the Revolt of the Angels type and I think that might be something I am drawn to him for.

Empathy and the Silver Rule (part one out of a few on this subject to come
If everybody were sticking pins in dolls instead of irritating others, driving recklessly, starting fights, and insulting their friends things might actually be running a lot smoother!
-Anton LaVey
People should be focusing on improving and fixing themselves and the society around them, there is a need to do this with empathy and the silver rule. It could seem contradictory that a Satanist be empathetic and follow the guideline of do unto others as they do unto you. I think individuality can work collectively in this sort of way.

To help fix something you should have empathy to the people affected by what is broke- or else you really won’t resolve anything.
