Attachment to a broken world in Satanism

Post by Patriot »

Since the principals of Satanism is about liberty and freedom. Liberation from modern corrupted western culture and society should be a thought that is in mind.

People are not free if they have to many attachments to things. Western culture is all about consumerism and money and always having more we need it now etc. This has bought havoc on the environment in places like China where they produce our stuff. 9 year olds are chained up in factories forced to work 12 hour days for that Iphone you love so much.

We need to again make things that last and are high quality. Reject the consumerist mindset. Spend this big money we have on fun things not more brain dead materialism.

People who choose total attachment to the moral sewer that is western society choose to be attached to suffering.

These lifestyles people live lead to suffering and loss in their lives and never being happy.

Meditation and spirituality and deprogramming from modern western ideals helps in breaking free and liberating the soul.

It all comes down to this. If you are suffering it's because you chose to suffer. You are asking the universe for this and the universe is giving it to you.

In meditative states people are calm and wise and expand their consciousness. 10 years is like tomorrow and yesterday could happen again. It's a state of mind.

When we are liberated from the veil we realize reality isn't what we have been told.

So in this state you can choose not to suffer. You can choose to shut out and detach from suffering and be happy. You can choose to change the circumstances that make you suffer.

It's all about attachment. Even in the most horrible conditions imaginable people can be truly happy and content.

It's all a state of mind.

Make the right choice reject this moral sewer and live as much as our ancestors did as you can. Together we can make this sewer into a beautiful garden of flowers and make the whole world better.

Some factories have suicide nets, to keep people from jumping.

Myself and another artist have been getting into retrieving found objects (furniture) from laneways, taking them back to the studio, giving them a total makeover and then re-selling them or even gifting them. Last summer I made myself all 'new' furniture for my place this way. It's fun, too. I think there is a lot of stuff going into landfills that ought not to be. I love the 'antique' stuff, solid wood, dovetail joints, the quality....there are people throwing perfectly decent work like this into landfills for junk from IKEA. I think as well it would be good to move away from made in china to made in (your community), and made with quality. The built in obsolescence should be stopped.

Its just everywhere. We used to use cast iron pans. They're the best. Buy a good set and you never need to buy a set again. Then we started getting cheap ones from china with teflon coatings – that run out in a year or so, not to mention the teflon it turns out, isn't good for people.

If you look at newspaper articles from the early 1900's, you'll notice they wrote in depth things and people took the time to read, discuss at the dinner table. It seems nowadays people have the attention span of goldfish, info must be spoon fed or delivered in 30 second soundbites.

I think it goes even deeper into badness than chaining people up in a factory to produce till they want to jump out a window, as horrible as that is. That's physical slavery. But there is a mental aspect to it as well.

Before cell phones, people spoke to one another more – for example on the bus you could talk to the person beside you. While now, people are all buried in their phones. People are becoming more isolated.

They are constantly 'upgrading' the servers. And they are making it so that, if you have an older PC operating system, you have to upgrade THAT too, or else you can't upgrade your server, meaning loss of access to sites. Or going out to dine – they want you to swipe your phone and get the online menu. Its not just 'convenience'. Its trading personal privacy and autonomy for 'convenience'.

I'd gone out with somebody for lunch. A week later I go again with them for dinner at another place. And when this person swiped their phone, the damned app asked: A table for two with zola? Talk about invasive! My friend dismissed this as 'coincidence'. I wonder....

Over the years, my city quietly removed practically all dial phones from public places. Forcing people to get cell phones whose apps are tracking you. Now, they're going around quietly removing the meters at the curb, so you have to have a phone and yet another app that you wave at a sensor, if you want to park the damned car. Not to mention no more getting a meter somebody left with money in it and all those meter maid jobs phased out.

I think getting people hooked on 'convenience' is a slow mental process of tightening the noose of control. There is an agenda behind all this 'convenience'...plus trolling for personal info. Tracking where you go, with whom, etc etc.

And then we see where its all leading to with the 'social credit score'. Its leading to tyranny; where at one stroke, someone, somewhere can make it impossible for you to participate in society unless you are 'good'. Same with this metaverse thing. Its bad news. Everything you do and see and talk to etc in there is going to be monitored. Is this person a 'problem'? Do we need to turn off their bank accounts? rein them in? Punish them for going to a rally? Teach them a lesson? This level of invasiveness and control is diabolical.
Satanism is not about taking your God away from you;
It's about freeing you to be your own God.

Life is the great indulgence. We can enjoy this world without being super attached to it. Attachment though can create a false ego based on other people's perceptions.

So freedom has a different definition for everyone involved.

I agree with what Zola said about the phones creating isolation from those around you. It's true.

We have to consider our values.

So. I'd like to share something. I think partly the way things are going in the world will force us to reconsider our values and what matters. I'm not talking politics either. (I hate politics). For example. The food factories being blown up will make us work with our environment and I guarantee it will be a lot healthier too. Like having to take on hunting, fishing, farming. But nobody knows if this is done on purpose blowing up factories, don't want to engage in conspiracy theories.. But with this situation it can make us more aware of our environment rather than constantly pushing charities and consumerism etc. Maybe it's a good thing I'm pagan. Most pagans are earth honoring.

So what about sexuality, dating and relationships? The vast majority especially myself and the USA are having issues in the dating world because mainly people so self centered, want someone to pay there way etc I'm a guy this is what I've experienced from most women, very narrow minded and materialistic. Most people are dating just to kill boredom and completely disregard a person. So with the change in the environment and society maybe people will date for the right reasons even if they don't have kids together they could contribute to something that has value for themselves. That means men can learn to be men again but learn from mistakes and work together with women. And same for women can work with men. Technically given the astrological circumstances in the change of things, we are currently undergoing a re-structuring.

And with the isolation that Zola is talking about, cell phones and the internet is creating narcissistic people, and inflation of ego and causing issues in social life , dating, privacy , etc no real connection with others. Because of isolation can easily create boredom, in the state of boredom, one is ripe or easily programmed for whatever trend they got going on. If you really think about it, Saturn in aquarius will make us rethink our values on technology and use it to benefit the earth or work with the natural environment, not replace earth. This can be done but the population doesn't normally pursue knowledge especially of a spiritual kind because they are taught it's of the devil or whatever.

We can look at these changes being made in the world right now.
Being too attached and unwilling to change can bring disastrous consequences to your mental health if you can't go with the flow. That doesn't mean conformity the analogy I am referring to is surfing or riding the waves. Flexibility at least.

These attachments as you say will result in someone creating an ego based on these attachments and not who they really are. Yet this world is an extension or manifestation of the Self. So there is an ego you can have , one you created. So we do need the ego to survive, survival, necessities for existence here. There's nothing wrong with indulging life. So real independence and freedom is able to enjoy life on your own and making the choice to enjoy with others if you choose to do that. Repressing basic survival instincts isn't healthy. If you want to go down that path of detachment you might as well be as good as a monk. Lol

One needs to balance between healthy attachments and healthy detachment.

Unhealthy attachments is narcissistic, criminal behaviors with all. Excess , consumerism etc

Unhealthy detachment... Might as well be a psychopath, sociopath, or suicidal.

Basically what we are supposed to do is master ourselves. That's real independence and freedom.

I remember listening to a young yogin chatting in the waiting room after a class and he was telling somebody else about how he's finally had this breakthrough in learning to detach from his ego – to never think of himself, he doesn't matter; it's all about love...stuff like that. The thing I found interesting was not what he was saying – which I thought was drivel - but the look in his eyes as he was speaking. He looked mind blown. Like one of those smiley faced christians. I remember thinking yep....that is not healthy (unhealthy detachment)!

I do agree – that we're supposed to master ourselves to find real independence and freedom. This is part of the Satanic Tenet.

I think phones are both great and bad depending on how you use them. When I have one I just don't take part in the Borg as I call it. Places like Facebook or the metaverse eew I will invest in that for sure (and anyone else I advise to as well) cause I know enough people are dumb for that to make a lot of money but no bite on ever going there. I think online forums like this and the JOS are great as well as sites that talk about deep things. A phone is better than a computer in my mind cause you have to haul around a clunky thing to do stuff with from room to room or on vacation no bite.

So far as online dating it could be a godsend for people like us as it is not often easy through our day to day activities or at social events or any of that to find someone similar in the ways we might like or need the most. However there is also a chance you could meet the wrong person and it won't be better. However it's more likely back when I was still looking for a partner I had some much better experiences with that. Anything I did in my day to day life at the time I wouldn't have enjoyed people I could have asked out so I never did it that way.

Pop modern music is bleh for the most part it isn't enough for me to force people that turn it off or anything but on my own I like deeper and more meaningful stuff. I think it's dumb.
