This is my reply to Mamba on the subject.

Thank you, that is what I thought it was. I note the self worship technique is a heart chakra technique I have been doing this and it activates that point and sends bliss energy through the being. Vao is very close to Vau or Fau which is Venus the heart energy and first rune. The ancient Bhakti techniques are based on a hidden self worship the deity is the Isha the inner god and Isha is the lord of the heart chakra the worship of the self at the heart chakra which is literally consider the point of the self. Which is the seat of the soul and energy body the nature of the soul is the bliss body. The Bhakti is to open the heart chakra and purify the body in the eastern techniques. A lot of the ancient mystic literature and poetry is referring to this but had to cloak it due to the religious authorities. The idea that god is within and that god is actually the self which is what the Siddha's taught is against the ideology of the religious authorities who need the external god in the sky to build their entire social-political control grid upon which includes the Orwellian dominance hierarchy.
I do note however the texts on self worship also include the use of pranayama, mantra, banda and asana in there as well.[1] The goal of which is to obtain the Light Body or Magnum Opus. I note Swami Ramalinga own method of worship relates to this Bhakti technique it seems and he ascended he didn't rainbow body he just ascended into a Light Body. His spiritual training for people was to sit in the Temple and worship in the symbol of the god within the heart lotus and thus the heart it seems.
I note a lot of people are asking about this. My opinion is just use the heart language to connect into yourself and let the feelings of goodness flow and the words, FEELINGS of self love and care, gratitude and reverence flow don't think just do. This speaks in language beyond just the tongue it speaks in the language of the heart.
I think the reason this receives so much criticism is because worship is thought of in our society something egotistical that allows one to be elevated over others and then abuse them and is abusive in general. Which mirrors the Christian worship and authority cult. And much of this society worship is something egotistical and from the lower chakras such as the manipura which is power and control. However in my opinion true self worship is speaking to oneself in the language of the spiritual heart and from the spiritual heart it flows and to the spiritual heart it goes it opens up the heart and brings joy and goodness its a loving and positive method from the heart the chakras open and the energy flows as well and the consciousness is spiritualized with the soul. I would like to thank you Mamba and Zola for bringing this method to the public! The heart chakra connects to the third eye.
