?? I'm not speaking concepts. I'm speaking first hand experience.

I already said: My point is that you also carry the potential within you to achieve the same level they are on. There is no need to cast down your eyes.

You think of spirits and gods as something apart but I don't see it that way. To me, they are all beings that are not physical like you or I.
So to me spirits are not gods doesn't compute. But ok, no problem. You see that differently.

I guess the short answer is yes I can see spirits. But this isn't 100% reliable. Sometimes they make themselves known; other times not. And yet their influence is felt.

And actually yes. I do recall one time when it told me not to look at it and I did anyway. And it was angry. This is why I think your question is interesting. If you are thinking of a particular incident, I'd be interested to hear it.

I think you're right on this. Spirits who like to manipulate and deceive DO NOT like it when you look them in the eye. I think there's a very good reason for this. They do say the eyes are the window to the soul and I do believe this is true.

Think about this: there is no real difference between us and them. Not in the ways that count, in our essential humanity. And so that would include infighting amongst themselves and all the things we do. Yes, they are meta human, more advanced etc. I'm not saying they aren't. They are.

But I think there are those amongst them who prey on us. Those would be what we might conceive to be the bad spirits. And this concept exists in every myth and folktale. So I am inclined to think there is some truth to that.

And I think you are correct: Those who are predators can't look us in the eye.
