Poetry thread
Yesterday, I talked with an acquaintance about mother's day. The things she shared deeply saddened me, but her sorrow inspired me to write a poem. Be warned that it's heavy.
Estranged
I wasn't there when you needed me,
And now you don't need me anymore.
I'm as proud of you as can be,
But my mistakes leave me sore.
I should've never made you,
But your smile dyes my heart in a beguiling hue:
A joy so sickening I could die,
But I want to squeeze you before you pass me by.
You shouldn't be with me,
Yet you carry me in all that you are;
Every day you bloom into me,
Even as I only watch you from afar.
And how can I stand it,
Having failed you in every way?
A mere hug would lead me astray,
Your warmth, I don't deserve it.
You should be anyone but me,
You should just be free.
I want to just be free,
I want to just be me.
So please forget about me,
Just let me be,
I can't take it anymore.
It's myself that I abhor.
It's not your fault, my dear,
I'm the failure here.
Feel free to share your own poems in this thread as well.

ultima liberationis (English: The Final Freeing)
Lyrics in Latin:
Sol in caelo florere est
Et cogitationes meae habent multum caliginem
Inlaqueantur errantesque deceptiones
Nam fabula unitatis nostrae cum futuris visionibus miscetur
Sed utcumque difficile clamavi
Est semper pretium temptare
Tollere industria solaris usque ad caelum
Libera virtute et iure
Hoc enim casu tantum potest esse
Pro humanitate ad perfectionem spiritualem consequendam
In absoluta liberatione
English translation:
The Sun in the sky is about to bloom
And my thoughts are having a lot of gloom
Being trapped and wandering into delusions
For the story of our unity mingles with my future visions
But no matter how hard I cry
There is always a worth to try
To take up the solar energy up to the sky
Liberate it with might and right
For there may only this chance be might
For humanity to achieve spiritual completion
In the absolute Liberation

October Rose
From my window I can see her
Pink fragment in the gardens grey light
All that remains of summer's shimmering spill
She's giving way now
Her petals loosen and flutter to the floor
Mingling with curled leaves and memories
Final notes of last seasons song
But her perfume remains with me
The joy she shared
And the beauty she provided
Like a smile on the face
Of a beloved Traveller
Across a closed bridge
Or a tumbled relic
That someone once called home
And charms the soul
Despite times disrespect
And here, too, is my
October consolation:
That somewhere, certainly,
Roses are blooming
And She is reborn
From my window I can see her
Pink fragment in the gardens grey light
All that remains of summer's shimmering spill
She's giving way now
Her petals loosen and flutter to the floor
Mingling with curled leaves and memories
Final notes of last seasons song

One of my mentors, a Santeria HP, (who served in the Vietnam War which was from Nov 1, 1955 – Apr 30, 1975)
wrote this:
I walked among the stars and then
Called to a time beyond my ken
Stepped unknowing through the gate
Discovered I was born too late
And no matter where I roam
I can't find my way Home
The Unforgiven

In some times, moments that are related to war are very awful to tell.HPSZolaLuckyStar wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2023 1:23 am I asked him to tell me about that war....but he said he couldn't it was too awful.
Generally, a war doesn't bring any happiness and I find wars as being the epicenter of a negative energy magnetism as there is a lot of pain and suffering in them, nothing happy.

Re: Poetry thread
As the winds are harrowing,
And the night my soul's hugging,
I feel very joyful and cheerful,
As the waves of the sea follow my soul's line
And every negative thought vanishes,
With the toxicity I am stopping connections
Purification, the benefit that Serapis has given me,
For eternity His name blessed shall be,
As with His help, I overcame sadness and blockages,
And my Thirst for Truth has awakened,
Like the beautiful sunny blessing in the summer skies,
With all of its glory my soul enlightening
And my body unifying

Re: Poetry thread
I mentioned before in another topic that 5 years ago, my husband and I decided to become each other's spirit partner alongside being physical partners. We both believe love becomes more precious the more memories we share, so our ideal is to be together forever, even if someday our mortal bodies were to perish. And so through the duality of the physical and astral, I'm married to him on multiple layers of existence: like two sides of the same coin, I jokingly call them hubby-in-my-head and hubby-outside-my-head.
I recently began to condition my mind to associate a vintage pocket watch he gave me with him, turning it into a talisman of sorts to deepen the spiritual side of our bond:
As I noticed last night how enchanting the ticking sound of the watch has become since I started to associate it with him, I decided to write a poem about it:
Advantages of using a pocket watch as a talisman for a partner
When I hold it up to my ear, I hear:
Tick, tick, tick, tick
Like my head is on his chest, and I hear his heart beating.
When I put it on my nightstand close to my ear, I hear:
Tick, tick, tick, tick
Like he's right there next to me, breathing.
When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I hear:
Tick, tick, tick, tick
And I hear his voice saying good morning.
When I look at the time, he's there, and helps me plan my day.
When I fidget, he brushes against me, and soothes my worries away.
Tick, tick, tick, tick.
Though time may fade the world away, I know he's here to stay.

- I hold the timepiece briefly whenever I reach out to him mentally.
- I rub the timepiece or look at it when I feel his energy (or want to), linking the motion with his presence.
- I think/say a specific phrase directed at him whenever I look at it: "In your presence, I am whole."
