Thats interesting. I can't speculate on what the beings were though.

You will find if you've shifted out of body into the astral as in lucid dreaming (conscious of leaving the body yet still in your bedroom - haven't gone far), the room may look similar to the one from the waking world yet contain subtle differences. Like it might be bigger than it is when awake. Maybe the doors or windows have shifted slightly. That kind of thing. Some things same, others different.

Sometimes if it's a fully conscious shifting as in an out of body, the room will look practically identical to the waking world one.

I think the closer to the waking reality the more closely things resemble how it is there.

I recall long ago, standing in my room by the room light switch, trying repeatedly to turn the light on. But my hand kept passing through the switch. This was really frustrating me. I couldn't figure out why this was happening. Till I realized I was out of body.
