Hey I'm a demonolater. I wanted to tell you that being a demonolater, your path is very individual. Some choose to work with angels too but I don't because I just don't feel comfortable. But in some instances, it's important to overcome any programming.

hi. i have various questions. do you follow S. Connolly's guide for demonolatry? do you think you need to do the initiation described in the S. Connolly book, to be demonolater? and to do all these things with tools? i honestly disagree so much with the initiation stuff. want to know another demonolater's view about this on Demonolatry.

No. I borrow some stuff, she even told me that it's a very individual path. I take a little bit here and there and use whatever works for me. I have done a dedication ritual but if I learned anything all these magical traditions are so diverse. Like best results I ever had is just simply focusing on sigil and my intention and then just go about my normal routine. I do not feel the need for ceremony or ritual.

i don't want to, at least for now. i've been into demonolatry for like a bit. i contacted two Demons, they helped me. for now, i don't need to do this. i'm theistic satanist and i mostly pray Satan. idk if i'll return into Demonolatry.

Daemons are really misunderstood. Daemons in Greek myth are sent by Zeus and the famous Pergamon Altar is the Throne of Satan according to book of Revelation.


The word Daemon comes from Greek. It's a protecting spirit. The belief in such spirits existed both in Greece and at Rome. The Greeks called them daimones and appear to have believed in them from the earliest times, though Homer does not mention them. Hesiod speaks of them and says that they were 30,000 in number, and that they dwelled on earth unseen by mortals, as the ministers of Zeus, and as the guardians of men and of justice. He further conceives them to be the souls of the righteous men who lived in the golden age of the world.

30,000 is a number I've done some research on and it relates to being connected to divine source. Also in Hebrew Kabalah, that's exactly what it relates to.

It's funny because I'd think working with a Daemon yield more results especially in daily life. It's a still small voice within that advises you. Can be synonymous with intuition. I actually enjoy this definition of Daemon. Because it's less baggage. And I'm pretty sure most Daemons like Goetia are then "ministers of Zeus/Satan" ...I mean after all there are a lot of goetia names parallel to pagan deities. But everything I'm telling you is just based on my perceptive and my approach to my path.
