This was a very long post, it must have taken a long time to put all this information together, i appreciate it.
I haven't read the other 2 parts yet i'll search for them later.

fascinating seeing how ancient symbols used in pagan nations are used so frequently today.

It's surprisingly common.

Take google for example, the 4 primary colors that google uses represents the elements.
Red = Fire
Blue = Water
Yellow = Air
Green = Earth.

Then there's the chrome symbol:

And the play store symbol:

You're right the eagle does have super vision, they're able to track prey from very long distances and see with great detail.
It's easy to see how they can be connected to Sun, The Sun which represents knowledge and interllect like you said, the unknown is made known.
It's to perceive information, Visual perception is that of perceiving 'light', which is mainly given by the Sun.

Besides the eagles being connected to the Sun there's the 'eye of providence' aka the eye of god.

It's well known for it's use in the illuminati, which is derived from the word 'illuminate' in other words, to make known.

Back to the eagle, It's wings mainly represent freedom and liberty, while it being 2 wings on each side, it's more so the concept of duality rather and controlled opposition, like the Pingala and Ida that represent the male and female energies along the Sushumna.

The eagle is also a symbol for the demon Baalzebub/The god Zeus.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eagle_of_Zeus

It's easy to see why the eagle was used by many military ancient nations.
The eagle reflects the true nature of things, which is that nature is cruel and unforgiving, and Eagles are at the top of their food chain being apex predators, and eagles like many other wild predatory animals are to be fierce and aggressive.

A similar thing was observed in Sparta, where children at a very young age were sent into the Agoge, to be brutally tested and prepared for war.
