I know this may sound dumb, but is it wrong to blaspheme Satan? What qualifies as blasphemy? Will I get punished or rejected if I blaspheme Satan?

Well, the answer really depends on a lot of factors. Laveyan or atheistic Satanists do not acknowledge Satan as a literal being. Because they merely see Satan as a force or symbol they are at the liberty to blaspheme if they really want. Theistic Satanists have a different view and see Satan as a literal being, and for this reason some theistic sects refrain from blaspheming.

Personally I disagree with this view for the following reasons:
If a literal Satan existed he would be nothing like the Christian God. A literal Satan is open to criticism and is open to laughing at himself. According to Christians Satan is the master of blasphemy so it would be odd if he couldn't handle the same stuff that he dishes out. I can actually visualize Satan joining in on the blasphemy, having a good time and taking the mockery to the next level while poking fun at himself.

There you have it, nothing to worry about.
Regardless of whether you are theistic or atheist, feel free to blaspheme as much as you want. In Satanism nothing is sacred or immune to scrutiny.

Once, after losing one I greatly cared for, I was really upset. Satan came in and said some comforting words, I became furious and cussed at him. His response was what an adult does when a child is having a temper tantrum;
He shrugged and left the conversation.

He didn't punish me for blasphemy. He didn't have time for it though.

That depends on the nature and ethos of a person. If you honor or venerate something, then you wouldn't willfully disrespect what you honor or venerate.

For example, if you honor your flag, you wouldn't step on it. If you are a Catholic and you venerate the Virgin Mary, then you would not urinate on a statue of the Blessed Virgin. If you love your mother, you wouldn't willingly call her a whore or bitch. If you honor your religion, you wouldn't willingly do anything to disrespect it. Which is why Muslims have a big cow when someone draws pictures of their prophet Muhammad.

And so to answer your question: is it wrong to blaspheme Satan? It isn't a matter of "wrong" or "right." The issue is predicated upon two factors: What type of person you are, as far as nature and ethos goes and how much you honor and venerate Satan.

Fear not! I'm a friendly person and don't disrespect or "blaspheme" any gods, religion, or person. It's just not in my nature and ethos.

I don't know who Gregory is either, but I guess what Siatris is trying to say is that you shouldn't make fun of the T4S clergy or criticize us. This of course is false, if you read through our sermons and old forum posts you will see that we have no problem with this. We encourage people to question everything and think for themselves even the T4S clergy. Siatris knows this all too well because it's part of the reason why he hasn't been banned or blocked from the forum.

We are all human. We all make mistakes and no human being knows 100% of everything.
