Well. I'll admit at first I wasnt into it. But I been studying eastern teachings on celibacy about how people are slaves to passion and consuming lust. There's nothing wrong with sexual activity. In fact it was said that animals seem to have more self control than humans liked to lions who mate at a certain time and never for pleasure to satisfy our subconscious urges but people argue and often project their human emotions or what not on to animals, nature and other people. This is when we should realize we need to dig deeper.

Anyway from what I understand sexual desire as in all consuming begins in the subconscious and it's true! It's that seductive glance and curiosity that distracts is but this is the human condition since our senses are there. From eastern teachings the goal is to rise above and control our senses and our emotions as well as our thoughts. Even masterbation to fantasy images stems from subconscious can keep one from gaining full consciousness. Notice I didn't say ignore or eradicate because while we are here on earth we must pay attention to our bodies. Not necessarily self image or ego.

The fact for me personally struggling in area of not having a relationship with the right woman and taking a deeper look into myself I been chasing the image of woman imprinted in my subconscious and acting in desperation definitely has made me weak. So I'm fed up with this current state and doing something about it by yoga, meditation and practice brahmachrya (involved celibacy). There's no way I can have any relationship while I'm like this so I decided to forget sexual relationships and I don't want to say temporary because I will relapse thinking as I thought before. But it just goes to show how much control my subconscious has been having over my life.

Not just that every woman I've met is definitely materialistic and just have no clue and often I been treated like shit for the current state that most women I met are in. To satisfy their urges and justify their shitty behavior and have no discernment! Seems like their own subconscious is in complete control! As long as people are like this they will be easily controlled.

One thing that bothers me though is people attaching those who decide to go celibate but why are they attacking it? It's my personal choice.

Anything that goes against social norms or what the media portrays will be attacked.

Notice. How if you say you don't give a fuck about most people. Respect them. People will dog pile on you. Despite the fact that life is much better when you don't try to change yourself to please others.

You will be called an asshole or a douchebag when always putting yourself first without regard for others thoughts and feelings. Even if your polite to them and don't go out of your way to hurt them.

They will project their self hatred onto you because they need something to hate that's not themselves.

Also because working in a group with someone who doesn't care about you is hard. It's bad for the tribe if somebody doesn't care more about the tribe than themselves.

And yet. Its always the people with confidence/arrogance that people choose to be around. That people flock to. And you can't cultivate true confidence if your constantly worried about what others think of you. That stuff just breeds insecurity.
