The Not New, But New Philosophy of Mx. Retrograde

Hello, as said in the title I'm Mx. Retrograde.
This is the start of me working out my own philosophy, I would enjoy any criticism, ideas, and concerns. I'm open and would love to hear it.
Philosophies that have influenced this one: LaVeyan, TST, Global Order Of Satan, other Satanic groups, Thelema, Luciferianism, Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth, and The Process Church of the Final Judgement (who aren't some Charles Manson group like most people think), as well as many, many more.
As we've seen since the founding of The Satanic Temple in 2012, there has been a new interest in Satanism and it's occultic siblings, parents, and relatives. From Luciferian churches being made, to most recently- the Witchtok phenomenon.
The world seems in need of a revival in philosophies of Hermeticism, individuality, and nihilism.
I will elaborate more in future writings, this was mostly just an intro.

Reconciliation of opposites.
Many who follow TST and their Baphomet campaign are familiar with this term, but where did it come from for them?
The answer is most likely The Process Church of the Final Judgement, who believed in the unification of Jehovah + Lucifer and Christ + Satan.
This idea is a great one to show how all things, no matter how different, can be put together and not be vibrating out of tune. The Hermetics understood this in their 4th Principle, "The Principle of Duality; Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites". We know opposites attract, so the entities/ symbols (whichever, non-theistic or theistic) can be unified. Different, but still exist along one another in harmony.
Genesis (Breyer) P-Orridge (Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth) and their partner had the idea of male and female unity in the Pandrogeny project. While their AMAB body and the other's AFAB body couldn't literally become unified, they used surgery and hormones to get as close as possible. This being a reconciliation of opposites.
Anton LaVey voiced this in The Satanic Bible. He spoke of man being just another animal (7th Satanic Statement). Writing about the demonization of gods like Pan, who are pictured as having both human and animal traits, which symbolizes that the two are one in the same.

A quick glimpse into how music influences personal philosophy
I am an avid listener of music. And writing this, on February 17, 2022. we are currently on the 50th birthday of the wonderful Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day.
Green Day has been a major influence on my outlook on life, social issues, societal norms, and artistic perspective. If you take their 2004 concept album 'American Idiot' you may possibly see a reflection of your worldview in the lyrics. The line "Well. maybe I'm the faggot America" speaks to me being that I am apart of the so called 'Faggot America'.
But bands/artists and their music can help people with so much on their personality. Take a band like Mindless Self Indulgence- they taught me to stop giving a shit what people think and be the person who I am and want to be... To just fly loose.
Music helps. I think it's that simple.

Memory and Music
Young Volcanos by Fall Out Boy and Graffitia by Green Day
These songs are for memories. They take me back to right before the pandemic, and allow me to relive that time, if only for a couple of minutes.
Music is great for memory. Certain songs are keys to special times in your life, it is a good tool to keep long lasting memories. Sometimes a song will itch the brain and make you know it has an association with important events that happened previously in life, and it forces you to think and reflect in order to satisfy that itch. Music makes for a multi-tool. It serves as a place of learning to think, a way to get all the negative energy away- or embrace the negativity and allow you to live in the moment, and last but not least, a nostalgia generator.

My personal take on the philosophies of the United Aspects of Satan, Dao Satanism, and taking criticism
The 'Aspects of Satan' according to UAoS:
Satan- Rebellion against arbitrary authority
Ba’al- Perseverance in the face of opposition
Lucifer- Scientific and philosophical skepticism
Baphomet- The use of logic, reason, and empirical evidence to shape our morality
Leviathan- Community for the creative freedom and betterment of every person
Belial- Individualism and individual accomplishment
Pan- Indulgence in the pleasures of life
Loki- The application of humor, fun, wit, and cunning in our endeavors
I tend to agree with what is said here about all these icons. However the symbology of Baphomet seems to be a half truth after the critique given by HPBlackMamba recently. I also believe that Lucifer represents a bit more light.
Dao Satanism
The 15 Statements are characterized here;
https://satanicresources.com/resource/5 ... 6e9b88b1f0
I actually have some disagreements on this one. For one, I disagree that the past can't be undone. It can, certain things can be taken back, revoked, or removed from effect. If you have an unjust law, and then it was removed, it would be as if it never happened in a matter of months.
I agree that women should be treated with the highest respect. All people regardless of ethnicity, gender (identity), or sexual orientation should be treated with the highest respect in regard to how they act.
Criticism and why it's a good thing
Criticism.
Hate it, love it, give it, take it, we all experience criticism. And some people can't take it. I see it often in the online occult/satanic communities. People give criticism and it can shut one down, make them defensive, or criticize in return. I think the latter of those is the only okay option in some situations.
The final (11th) principle of Thelema states:
I laugh: I enjoy all parts of the world, and I do not take myself too seriously. and I think that people should understand that. People should enjoy being criticized, how else could we know if we are wrong or right? To give criticism is to be able to take criticism.
Thank you

From what I understand from my research, It's the cup of Knowledge i.e. the chalice of Lucifer hidden within the Baphomet that makes the symbol Satanic. Baphomet itself represents the path taken by mainstream religions. I really enjoy reading your posts. Keep documenting your philosophical journey.

Thoughts in Nihilism
Some of them are kind of poetic. Some are excerpted from songs and other writings. Some my own.
Nothing is real. I do not believe in you. Nor I. Everything ever, and to come is meaningless in the grand scheme of reality. The sun will destroy the earth removing any traces of our quarrels on this miserable little rock. So it's best to rock your audiobook, and make it so you live you.
There is no Heaven of glory above nor Hell where sinners roast, but which is here on Earth.
(LaVey). But who's to say our subjective universe isn't just the dream of a yet to awaken being, and when it wakes- we are gone forever. And who's to say that is not a dream inside a dream? No one. We could all be dead already, or dying and reliving each second of our lives in the last seven minutes of brain activity. We could be entering the collapsing into itself of the universe as it crashes inward from it's point of explosionous expansion.
Humans are quite insignificant and petty creatures. We are but a mere speck on the scale of things in the universe. Yet we are made of the universe, we are dead stars. Matter and energy cannot be created or destroyed so why should we not try to use what we have and create more? Humans shouldn't live to the ages we do now, it is unnatural in a natural world.
that's all for now. I love Hell which formed my genius.
