Satan is great at keeping us in fear and distrust of God.
We just keep going in circles and never take the time to get down to the nitty gritty of what he is showing us.
However, we have so much more control when we stay in the Word, take time to research our topic and be ready to answer our kids questions and to be firm in what we believe.

Re: Satan is a deceiver
Hey Clarice, Welcome to the forum, this is a free speech place so you are welcome to share your views. Personally I don't agree that Satan is a deceiver. In the Bible it says that God a.k.a Jehovah sent spirits to deceive the prophets. It seems to me that God is the deceiver and not Satan.

Re: Satan is a deceiver
Satan deceives people with pleasure, pleasures, money and lust.
Instead of finding happiness in the Lord and seeking the Lord's help, people seek pleasure and riches.
They drink liquor, but the Lord tells us to avoid it.
Satan has a way of distorting the Word.
The Word was revealed to us in the early church, but the devil has twisted it in our time.

Why do you see pleasure, money and lust as a bad thing? These things are essential for humans to survive and thrive.
A world without pleasure would be a very messed up place to live in and people won't be able to enjoy life.
My thoughts are that people should seek pleasure in themselves instead of the Lord, this is also what the true philosophy of Satan teaches.
Concerning your claim that the Bible tells us to avoid alcohol, well there are many scriptures that say that one should refrain from drinking, and other's that outright promote it. Here are some examples.
verses against drinking:

Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.

And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,
There are many examples like this, so it is obvious to see that the Bible contradicts itself here. The Holy Bible wrote: Ecclesiastes 9:7 ESV / 359 helpful votes
Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do.

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is justified by her deeds.”

The bible is God's word. For many of us, it is the only bible. The way you're reading it, you're studying it as a student. Don't be an idiot. Get a godly mentor to teach you. Surround yourself with godly people.
Re: Satan is a deceiver
Because I am a Satanist, your views seem ignorant to me. It is obvious that the Bible is a lie, and the entire concept of God and Satan are both ridiculous. We don't worship an angry, jealous, cruel father figure, and you don't live in a perfect, judgment-free paradise. I am quite happy to discuss this with you in detail so that I can better understand your position though.
Re: Satan is a deceiver
It is true that I believe in God. My view is that Jesus died for your sins, but you need to repent to put your life on the right path. There is no church in the world which is perfect. There is no perfect person who was perfect in his whole life. Let’s focus on the good qualities of God.Owenavo wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 2:18 pm I find it funny that you came here on a satanic forum just to try and tell us what’s going on and what you have to believe… Here’s what I’m going to say, the bible is just a bullshit lie full of contradictions with the sour words of a old ugly fake Jehovah who’s nothing but fake! Which he is created by the grey/reptilians just to confuse people and the same goes for Jesus… And it’s not your fault really… It’s just how controlled this society is!

Do you think that when people face difficulties in life, they tend to blame God instead of themselves?
If we listen to God’s words, it would be the best advice. We must have faith in Him.

Thank you for being willing to talk to me. I believe that God's judgement is perfect and that you're going to have to answer for your sins one day. I've been through a lot of struggles in my life and I know that my punishment will be fulfilled by God.Jeff wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 3:12 pm Because I am a Satanist, your views seem ignorant to me. I know that you disagree with me, but God loves you and you can do good things and grow in His presence and He will show you all the way to where you will be and all of the ways that will lead you to your goal. You just have to accept it and come to the place where it is all happening. He is so good that He loves us and that is what He wants us to do. I know it sounds crazy and like a mess but it really is true.
Re: Satan is a deceiver
I don't believe in God or the Bible. There is no evidence that God is even real or that he exists. You are just taking everything on blind faith. Your beliefs about us can have a big impact on our actions, and your conclusions may be wrong.
The difference between atheists vs. skeptics generally boils down to what we're going against when it comes time for debate; not whether someone believes any given belief system matters much more than another (for example atheism) or cares very deeply how they think others see them (for instance people of non-religious background tend toward relativism). Many advocates of 'Satanism' simply do want an open discussion despite what most Christians seem to believe.
